The Presbyterian Student Fellowship (PSF) is an inviting place for students of all walks of life to continue to grow in their faith while in college. Students have the opportunities to grow in the areas of worship, study, service, and fellowship.
Along with worship, study, service, and fellowship, PSF's semester schedule is jam packed with retreats, fundraisers, and intramural sports. There's always something for everyone!
The PSF is an inclusive, open-minded environment for the nurturing of students on their spiritual journey while away from home. We encourage one another's spiritual growth by examining and questioning our beliefs. We continue our faith in God through worship, fellowship, service, and study as a Christ-centered community.
Service
PSF participates in various service projects throughout each semester. Such projects include: donating time at the Food Bank, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, Operation Christmas Child, Parent's Night Out, and church-wide workdays.
Bible Study
Bible study is usually held on Sunday nights. Besides the Bible, some semesters we study books which have been chosen by the group or Campus Minister.
Fellowship
PSF sets aside a lot of time to relax and have fun! Ice skating, Friday Night Movies, dinners, bowling, Super Bowl parties, Spring Break mission trips, intramural sports, pancake breakfast fundraisers, a retreat to Montreat in January, and APCM sponsored retreats, are just some of the things that we do for fun.
Thursday Night Gathering
Thursday Night Gathering (TNG) is a weekly informal worship service. It's a time for students to come together to worship God and grow in their faith. Communion is served once a month and is taken by intinction. TNG is centered around the reformed tradition of the Presbyterian Church (USA), but is open to anyone who wishes to share in Christian Fellowship and deepen their relationship with God.
The Music Team
The Music Team is a group of students who volunteer to plan and lead the music for worship. This team is open to any students interested in sharing their musical talents to lead worship on Thursday nights. It is also open to any students who wish to learn new worship music or just hanging out, playing the guitar and singing.
